Hey, it's Pidge.
[And now that she's made herself known so she's not coming across as a random weirdo...]
If you needed help with the quota, you should have said something.

[she's glad this is text, she's currently red as a tomato]

[When she's not being an avoidant little shit, anyway. But this is one of those things she's been able to be direct about with little issue.]
But here's how I see it. The other day was fun. I wouldn't mind doing that again. And I like you. So yea, I'm here if you need help.
no subject
[no, she was pretty much forced out under some of the worst circumstances she could imagine. but she couldn't lie anymore]
Okay. Good. I enjoyed it, too. You're good company. And I do need help.
no subject
What I do know is that you seem really interesting, and that's something you should be proud of.
[Granted, she's only known Courtney for a very short time and there are probably things she's unaware of.]
I have my moments. So how do we want to do this?
no subject
I think you're really interesting, too. And, thank you.
[every day, she wishes she could go back and change her reaction to the photos of her and Hannah, that if she had maybe things would be different. but there's no changing the past]
You could come over to my place? I'm in 09-A.

If its to weird for you, though, don't push yourself.
no subject
No, it's not weird. When should I come over?
no subject
Anytime after now. I am thinking about putting the grill out and starting cooking in the next hour so...

I just wanted to check in on you and make sure this place is treating you well. Or, as close to it as possible.

And I'mm doing...well enough. I lost my virginity to my best friend's girlfriend. Awkward. But I'm guessing that puts ahead nearly everyone else here, so. Cheers? [she lifts a strawberry flavored wine cooler from afar from a toast]
no subject
That sounds pretty awkward- but definitely not the worst thing that could happen here. I'm glad you're doing okay ish.
no subject
It was really awkward. Don't get me wrong, she was gorgeous and knew what she was doing, but how am I going to tell that story to my grandkids?

Greetings, and I hope this message finds you well.
My name is Anduin Wrynn. We may not know each other well, but we have served as colleagues at Haven Hospital under the leadership of Anders. It is with a heavy heart that I inform you that Anders no longer resides within the city, and so leadership of the hospital going forward has been entrusted to me.
I wish to assure everyone that we will continue to offer our services as we always have, and strive to offer our very best to those who come to us seeking aid. Maintaining a presence in the Down given the recent turmoil is more important than ever before, and you have my deepest gratitude for your contributions in that pursuit.
I understand there may be questions and concerns, and I would like to make myself available to each of you in order to discuss these matters. I would also like to hear your thoughts as to improvements that you believe may be made, as well as considerations towards filling some of the vacancies left behind. Among those include the position of Head Magical Healer, which I will be continuing to to manage until such time as a proper replacement can be found.
You are welcome to reply to this message to arrange a suitable time to meet with me, or to offer what input you may have in the meanwhile. My door will remain open should any issues arrive in the future that you believe require my attention. Know that I value your skills, your knowledge, and your compassion for those we serve, and I will do my utmost to maintain a secure and stable environment for all of us to continue our good work.
Light go with you.
Anduin Llane Wrynn

A Direct Quote: Are you fucking kidding me? Fifteen? Fifteen here, where consent is already iffy and chances are, they'll be completely unprepared for all of this bullshit? Those dicks. [meaning C.R. Eator and his chums.
so, yeah, she has Strong Feelings about this place in general. but all of that is beside the point, at least now. so she calls the new Fearless Leader, figuring that voice alone ought to work.
the voice that comes across is confident, carefully modulated, and a bit brisk] Hello. Mr. Wrynn? My name is Courtney Crimsen, I work as the accountant at Haven. I'd like to have the chance to chat?
voice
[ He still has to move everything over from the Head Healer Office. Well. One more thing on the to-do list. It's fine.
Having work to focus on means he doesn't have time to grieve the loss of one of his closest friends, after all. ]
voice---->action
[sure enough, approximately fifteen minutes later, Courtney appears. she likely looks rather odd to him--she often did to her classmates back home as well. and the sunglasses have been pushed up to function basically as a headband.
she raps neatly on the doorframe before entering, looking all Serious Business] I'm Courtney. I called earlier?
no subject
Then, he relaxes somewhat. ]
Yes, Miss Crimsen. Please, have a seat.
[ And with a gentle smile, he gestures to the open chair in front of the desk. ]

In Haven. Don't worry. Got into some trouble but I'll be fine.
no subject
[she haaaaaaates moments like this. when she's reminded forcefully that she and David are squishy humans]
no subject
[David hadn't meant to concern her but of course he had to inform her of where he was. When she arrives, she'll be directed to his room. Of course since they both work at Haven, he's well known and she won't have much trouble finding him. He looks tired and there are bandages wrapped around his arm and attached to his thigh - although the latter is covered up since he's lying down and his lower half is under a sheet. There's also some more minor lacerations across his skin. He glances up from his device when he catches movement in the doorway.]
Hey..
no subject
Hey. [she says as she enters the room] What happened?
no subject
There was this... Well, when we first met he said he was an angel. Michael. But I believe he's actually a demon called Belial.
He... attacked me. He had some sort of magical sword and arrows...
[Now that definitely is a wince.]
